Error! Error! Error! - Image 1A few days ago, we reported about a PS3 listing for Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360PC) spotted on both an Australian online retailer and Electronic Arts' Russian website. BioWare wasn't too forthcoming about the listing, but EA is being a bit more talkative. Problem is, what they're saying doesn't bode well for those who got super excited.

Valve - Image 1Remember when Valve complained of the PS3 being too complicated for them to develop on? If you thought they would have at least attempted at trying to understand how to best utilize the PS3's engine for their games since then, then you thought wrong. The newest episode of GTTV has Gabe Newell admitting to making no effort to make peace with the PS3.

Valve - Image 1Just because Gabe Newell thinks that the PS3 is a waste of time, doesn't mean that Valve Corporation is closing doors on the console altogether. In fact, Valve's PR exec, Doug Lombardi, expressed that the company is "up on the idea" of developing for the PS3. Who cares what their managing director thinks?

Confuzzled - Image 1 How come we've yet to see Valve develop something for the PS3? Being one of the better game developers out there, you'd think they'd be one of the first to get in line tweaking with the PS3's hardware. Apparently, that's not the case as they seem to find it too complicated.

Team Fortress 2 - Image 1Despite Team Fortress 2 already being released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC ages ago, it looks like Valve Corporation isn't done rolling out introduction videos for its cast members yet. Latest out of the bag (leaked out of the bag, rather) is the vignette for the French-accented, cigarette-smoking Spy. Of the bunch, this character profile vid is instantly my favorite already. It's got the other cast members - Heavy, Soldier, and Scout, plus cameos of the others in the team (and some "pornography stahrring Scout's muzzher"). Happy weekend watching!

Left 4 Dead - Image 1For the nth time, boys and girls, Left 4 Dead is not - we repeat - NOT coming to the PlayStation 3. Different Valve folks have already quashed this rumor, but somehow, it just won't die. Like a persistent cockroach running around your kitchen floor. Squish away at the full article.

Orange Box - Image 1Remember when Valve's Gabe Newell said that the "PS3 is a waste of everybody's time"? Well, it looks like people can have a change of heart too. Valve admits that they're lacking in-house resources for PS3 development (which means... Team Fortress 2 won't be getting an update, even though it's already heading to the 360 and PC versions), however, they're still committed in trying to get a strong in-house team of PS3 developers. Also, unless EA has any say on it, it looks like Left 4 Dead will be staying on the Xbox 360 and PC.

Left 4 Dead - Image 1Could Valve's Doug Lombardi have really made peace with Sony's PlayStation 3? If UK retailers GAME and Play.com's product listings are to be believed, it would seem yes. Seen in these sites are actual pages for Left 4 Dead ( Xbox 360, PC) - for the PlayStation 3. Could it be really coming out on the PS3 soon?

Valve Corporation: poked themselves in the eye, eh? - Image 1We all know how Valve doesn't dig Sony's PlayStation 3. We've all heard Gabe Newell bash the console public on more than one occasion, after all. But what's this going on? Valve Corporation is having a change of heart? No less than Doug Lombardi confirms as much.

Left 4 Dead - Image 1Got caught up in the buzz that Valve's Left 4 Dead (Xbox 360, PC) is heading to the PlayStation 3? Don't get your hopes up too high because the devs themselves shot down the possibility of such a thing coming in the near future. More in the full article ahead.
