As of today, our lucky cousins across the Atlantic get to download an update for WipEout HD. Patch v1.1 will solve some of the bugs that some people have been reporting... but... (yeah, there's always a big butt but, isn't there?) there's a drawback.

PS3news celebrated their acquisition of a new 80 GB console by dissecting it and reporting their findings to the rest of us. It seems that the newer PS3 model only has 128 MB of storage, as opposed to the previous 512 MB. Apparently, the console's more sensitive files are now stored in the hard drive.

Is it an effort to reduce cost production? Or a step to increase security? Either way, it might prove trouble for the PS3 homebrew scene.

Warhawk's v1.5 Update may not be till the 27th of this month, but that doesn't mean we won't be getting any more updates on the update.
